The National Geophysical Data Center maintains an active database of solar and geomagnetic indices to further the understanding
of Earth magnetism and the Sun-Earth environment.
Geomagnetic indices constitute a data series aiming at describing the solar activity and geomagnetic activity at a planetary
scale.
The data series are homogeneous since 1932 for Kp and Ap, 1957 for Dst.
